Sharp Landscape Designs is looking for 2–3 reliable workers for outdoor landscape clean‑up projects in Miami Gardens.
Work: Weed whacking/line trimming, light debris pickup, and general landscape clean‑up in HOA common areas.
Schedule & Pay:
- Approximately 5 hours per day (daytime on Weekends)
- Pay: $25.00 per hour, paid at the end of each workday
- Work is outdoors and physically demanding
Requirements:
- Must be comfortable working outside in South Florida heat and sun
- Able to operate a weed whacker/line trimmer safely (landscaping experience is a big plus)
This is a good opportunity for someone with basic landscaping or groundskeeping experience who wants extra cash work.
- Able to lift 30–40 lbs and be on your feet for several hours
- Must arrive on time and be ready to work
Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools such as weed whackers, trimmers, hedge shears, and power tools safely and efficiently to maintain landscape aesthetics.
- Perform weed control, edging, trimming, and pruning to keep landscapes tidy and healthy.
- Use grounds maintenance equipment including lawn mowers, blowers, and small excavators to support landscape upkeep.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously during all operations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment.
Experience
- Prior outdoor work experience or landscaping background preferred but not required; willingness to learn is highly valued.
- Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and hand tools is advantageous.
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices including mowing, pruning, and plant care.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to groundskeeping equipment operation.
- Experience with pesticide management or horticulture practices is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining high energy levels throughout the day.
- Construction or tree care experience can be beneficial for supporting diverse landscape tasks.
