OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer with experience in automotive finance and strong technical expertise in IBM mainframe technologies. Experience with FIS/Systematics is a plus.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and support applications for multiple large-scale projects
- Research and resolve production issues, including troubleshooting mainframe online and batch abends
- Analyze and optimize daily and monthly batch processes to improve performance and reduce processing time
- Perform impact analysis across multiple platforms and applications
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for estimates, design, and development
- Provide on-call support for production batch processes during off-hours
- IBM Mainframe technologies including COBOL, CICS, MQ, DB2, and JCL
- Experience in the automotive finance industry
- Familiarity with FIS/Systematics platforms
- Strong understanding of financial services, including:
- Automotive lending
- Customer service operations
- Payment processing and tax handling
- End-of-term and extension processes
- Collections and delinquency tracking
- Repossession, charge-off, recovery, and bankruptcy
- Accounting principles
- Knowledge of testing practices and unit test deliverables
