A client of Sharp Decisions Inc. is actively looking to bring on a Quality Assurance Engineer -- State Street Boise ID. This is 6 month contract role with possible extension.
Quality Assurance Engineer – Test Plan Manager to plan, coordinate and where possible execute Test Plans for the roll out of an Authorized Roles Based Web Application.
The Idaho Supreme Court is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer – Test Plan Manager to plan, coordinate and where possible execute Test Plans for the roll out of an Authorized Roles Based Web Application to search, view and download permissioned content and documents. MUST HAVE Experience with Service Now Testing Module . .
The Quality Assurance Engineer plans and directs activities concerned with the development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for software application processes, materials, products, and/or business systems. Develops and implements standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation relative to the organization's quality management system. Assures compliance of organization's products and processes. Devises sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality data. Assures that products deployed for the organization are effective and free from defects or operational problems or errors.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Degree in technical fields such as Engineering or Computer Science or related work experience. Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process. Strong grasp of testing processes, test automation and software. Expertise in developing test strategy, test cases, evaluating scripts and putting them to use. Solid foundation in the SDLC and standard assurance practices. Experience in developing Test Plans within Agile methodology utilizing Service Now.
· Experience essential in test automation within workflow
· Recommending framework and tools for automated regression testing
· Develop test plans.
· Manage testers.
· Automated test results and analytics
