Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Platform Upgrades
  • Manage planning, execution, and delivery of a major upgrade to a mission-critical enterprise system with multiple dependent applications.
Data Model Transition Oversight
  • Coordinate subject matter experts through a structured migration from a legacy data model to a modern, rules-based model; ensure validation, quality control, and documentation.
System Integration Management
  • Identify upstream and downstream system impacts, maintain interface continuity, and work with technical teams to adjust workflows, APIs, and automated processes.
Vendor Coordination
  • Serve as the primary liaison with software vendors and professional services teams; track deliverables, manage risks, and ensure alignment with project goals.
Technical Workstream Leadership
  • Facilitate configuration, testing, and deployment activities across multiple technical disciplines, including data migration, environment setup, and system validation.
Change Management
  • Support adoption of new tools, workflows, and data structures; coordinate training, communication, and stakeholder readiness.
Risk and Dependency Tracking
  • Maintain a structured risk register, monitor cross-team dependencies, and escalate issues proactively.
Testing and Quality Assurance
  • Oversee functional testing, regression testing, and validation of new configurations and data structures.
Documentation and Reporting
  • Produce clear project artifacts, including schedules, status reports, decision logs, and migration documentation.
Must-Have Qualifications
  • Enterprise System Migration Experience: Demonstrated success managing upgrades or transitions involving complex data structures and multi-environment deployments.
  • Structured Data Transformation Projects: Experience coordinating teams through schema changes, rule-based validation, or model modernization.
  • Technical Project Leadership: Ability to guide technical subject matter experts, interpret technical requirements, and translate them into actionable project plans.
  • Integration and Workflow Awareness: Understanding of how enterprise systems interact with downstream applications, reporting tools, and operational workflows.
  • Vendor-Supported Implementations: Experience working with software vendors or professional services teams on structured implementation projects.
  • Strong Communication: Skilled at stakeholder engagement, cross-department coordination, and executive-level reporting.
  • Risk-Based Project Management: Ability to identify, quantify, and mitigate risks in large technical projects.
Preferred Experience
  • Multi-Environment Deployment Pipelines: Experience with development, testing, and production environments and structured promotion workflows.
  • Complex Data Validation Frameworks: Familiarity with systems that enforce topological, connectivity, or rule-based validation.
