General Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive General Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks across all Medical Center locations. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently or supervise maintenance activities. This position offers an opportunity to apply technical expertise in a dynamic environment, ensuring operational efficiency and safety.

Duties

• Perform routine, preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Repairs and installs hospital building equipment, furniture, and etc.
• Assembles various types of hospital equipment, furniture, and etc.
• Performs snow removal and groundskeeping.
• Practices all work place safety requirements
• Maintains the safety of the environment.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.
• All other duties as assigned.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client or internal requests promptly and professionally.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• 2 years experience in institutional, commercial, or industrial general maintenance work. Preferred: Post high school training in a trade or technology.
• Certification/Licensure: Clearances: As required by State and Federal Law.
• Required: Valid Driver’s License
• Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work independently or lead a team in fast-paced environments.
• Prior experience in customer service is advantageous for addressing client needs professionally. This position requires a dedicated individual committed to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence across various settings.
