Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) – Join Our Leadership Team at Sharon Lane
Sharon Lane Health Services is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead our in-house therapy team. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a motivated therapist who is passionate about clinical excellence, team development, and delivering outstanding patient outcomes.
As the Director of Rehabilitation, you will treat patients and oversee daily therapy operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and cultivate a collaborative environment where therapists thrive and patients receive exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and supervision to PT, PTA, OT, COTA, and SLP team members
- Oversee daily therapy operations, scheduling, and caseload management
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and state regulations
- Monitor clinical outcomes and implement performance improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with nursing and facility leadership to coordinate resident care
- Manage therapy department budgeting and productivity standards
- Support staff development, mentoring, and continuing education
- Maintain accurate documentation and billing compliance
Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA), Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in good standing
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing or post-acute setting preferred
- Prior leadership or management experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of Medicare Part A and B regulations
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Passion for patient-centered care and team collaboration
