Graphic Designer

Sharma & Associates is a print & design Sign Company serving businesses for 30 years. We are seeking a Graphic Designer to fill an immediate opening as a full-time employee. (This Job is in person, not remote)

Key Responsibilities

• Work efficiently through high volumes, meeting tight deadlines within established budgets
• Attend new project turnovers and weekly production meetings as part of client’s creative team
• Learn job tracking system and assist in managing projects
• Demonstrate the ability to perform well and remain organized under tight deadlines
• Assist in project and/or client customer needs

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Understanding of production methods to ensure designs can be produced for print delivery
• General advertising, marketing and media terminology and processes
• Essential duties and responsibilities
• Read and interpret work orders
• Inspect Jobs for accuracy and production
• Reviews quality of final product before release to client
• Staging signage

Qualifications

Experience which includes the following skills:

• Sign or large format printing background
• Production experience
• Ability to prepare art for print/production or manufacture
• General knowledge of substrates & media
• Familiar with the various fabrication methods for non-electrical signage
• Ability to multi-task
• Reasoning Ability -Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Graphic Designer Responsibilities

• Ensure all concept art is executed at the highest quality in production
• Assist Team Art Manager with any and all tasks related to operation of custom team art production

Graphic Designer Entry Requirements

• Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated drive for perfection
• Strong organizational skills, keen eye for detail, and ability to manage multiple projects at once
• Thrives working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
• Must be able to lift 50lbs daily

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
