Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated CDL A Dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will operate tractor-trailers on dedicated routes, Running Full Truckload out of Beardstown il to Batavia, IL, Hampshire, IL, Morris IL, West Chicago, IL, Mc Kook , IL Joliet IL and Rochelle, IL with back hauls to Beardstown, Mt Sterlling and Hannibal MO. ensuring timely delivery of freight while maintaining compliance with all safety regulations. Your expertise in Refrigerated freight and driving environments will be essential to our success.
Duties
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with Automatic transmissions, including refrigerated trailers.
- Drive route-specific freight efficiently while adhering to DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Manage deliveries involving different types of freight, including refrigerated goods.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery schedules, and any issues encountered during driving or loading/unloading processes.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, and inspection reports.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL A license with proven experience in commercial driving and route driving.
- Demonstrated ability to operate Automatic transmission trucks safely and efficiently..
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols for tractor-trailer operations.
- Ability to manage time effectively on dedicated routes while maintaining high safety standards.
