Overview
Shark Wake Park is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Sales Attendant to join our Pro Shop team. This role serves as the primary guest check-in and ticket sales position and plays a key part in creating a smooth, welcoming experience for all visitors.
Responsibilities include processing ticket sales, checking in guests, operating the point-of-sale system, answering phone calls, and providing accurate information about park attractions, pricing, waivers, and policies.
The ideal candidate is professional, upbeat, comfortable handling transactions, and confident communicating with guests in person and over the phone. Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail are important in this fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Process ticket sales and retail transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Check in guests and verify completed waivers
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to general questions about pricing, attractions, hours, and policies
- Provide clear information about park rules, safety requirements, and participant guidelines
- Upsell packages, memberships, or add-ons when appropriate
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Pro Shop and front desk area
- Restock merchandise and assist with inventory as needed
- Accurately handle credit card transactions
- Support other departments during busy periods as needed
Experience
- No experience is required - previous customer service or retail experience is a plus
- Comfortable using computers, tablets, or point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Experience processing payments is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both in person and over the phone
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Must be dependable and punctual
