About the Company
Established in July 2015, the Sharing Peace Cafe is a neighborhood cafe and wellness center located in the lower level of Peace Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne. The cafe provides a space for community fellowship, a full menu of food and beverages for purchase & features both indoor and outdoor seating, along with room for various activities and events.
Role Description
This is a part-time, hybrid role in Fort Wayne, IN for an Art Exhibit Coordinator. The coordinator will organize, curate, and manage art exhibits, collaborate with artists to select and display art, and ensure a smooth setup and teardown process for events. Other responsibilities include managing communications with artists, assisting customers during exhibits, and facilitating activities to enhance community engagement through art.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to build relationships with artists and provide exceptional support to visitors.
- Proficiency in Exhibit Design and Event Management, with attention to detail and creative vision for curating art displays.
- Experience with Trade Shows and other community outreach events is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle coordination of multiple projects.
- Enthusiastic, community-minded individual who shares the cafe's mission of fostering fellowship.
