Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our construction and maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial plumbing projects, with a strong understanding of construction site procedures, blueprint reading, and mechanical systems. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute project plans accurately.
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to assemble and install piping systems.
- Perform remodeling tasks involving plumbing fixtures and related components.
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on construction sites.
- Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry and HVAC technicians to ensure seamless project completion.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues within plumbing systems using mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
- Follow safety protocols at all times while working on construction sites or remodeling projects.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used.
Skills
- Proven experience in construction plumbing, including pipe threading, welding, and assembly.
- Strong knowledge of construction site safety procedures and blueprint reading.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, schematics, and HVAC systems is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with plumbing installation and repair.
- Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of plumbing components and systems.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to project specifications.
- Experience with remodeling projects or maintenance person work is a plus.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or ability to obtain one is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments. This position requires a dedicated professional capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety in every project undertaken.
