POSITION TITLE: HOUSEKEEPER

DEPARTMENT: FACILITIES & MAINTENANCE

FLSA STATUS: NON-EXEMPT

Full-Time-Monday through Friday (open to weekends) 40 hour week

Job Summary

This position maintains a clean and professional environment, reports maintenance issues to the maintenance department, and assists maintenance with light repairs as needed.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

The housekeeper does not supervise any positions.

Duties & Essential Job Functions

  • Clean apartments on a rotating basis to ensure sanitary living conditions for clients
  • Clean ShareHouse buildings as needed and/or as scheduled to ensure sanitary conditions and professional appearance (SHW’s, SHM’s, SHOP, Billing and Admin buildings). Must be able to drive between locations.
  • Transports trash and waste to disposal areas to provide clutter- and waste-free conditions
  • Notifies manager of need for repairs to ensure facility is safe and functional
  • Replenishes bathroom supplies to ensure supplies are readily available when/as needed
  • Provide and maintain reliable and prompt attendance, with the ability to work the schedule dictated by business necessity

Periodic Functions And Responsibilities

  • Assists maintenance personnel by performing minor and/or routine painting and light maintenance duties
  • Assist with shoveling snow on walkway and entrance and outdoor clean-up
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Prefer three months of similar experience in a professional environment

Required Licenses/Certificates

  • Valid/current driver’s license
  • must pass a background check
  • must pass a UA drug screening

  • Stooping and bending
  • Use of color vision and ability to distinguish colors
  • Pushing and pulling, lifting and carrying up to 15 lbs.

  • Standing for up to 1 hour

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position works in an environment with few physical discomforts; may occasionally be exposed to drafts, noise, temperature variations and odors.

Compensation

  • Compensation for this position is based on several factors, including relevant experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to base pay, ShareHouse offers a comprehensive total rewards package that includes generous paid time off (PTO), a robust benefits program, a 401(k) match, and more.   • This position will remain posted until April 20th with interviews starting the week of April 6th.
