Sharefax Credit Union, Inc. is seeking a full-time Payment Systems Member Service Representative to join our Ivy Gateway branch.
$500 1 year bonus
ACCOUNTABILITY
Under the supervision of and accountable to the Payment Systems Manager.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains files and records to ensure the accuracy of credit card accounts.
- Follows established chargeback procedures to protect members’ rights against
unauthorized activity.

- All functions, duties or tasks are to be carried out in an honest, ethical and
professional manner, and to be performed in conformance with applicable credit
union policies and procedures. In the event of uncertainty or lack of knowledge
of company policies and procedures, employees are required to request
clarification or explanations from their superiors or management.
1. Orders and reissues plastics cards.
2. Daily balancing of ATM/Debit Cards.
3. Inputs cardholder data changes.
4. Monitors over limit and delinquency problems and notifies the collections
department.
5. Revokes problem accounts by changing the card status and reporting to credit
card processor.
6. Notifies credit card processor immediately of lost or stolen cards.
7. Processes provisional credit for chargeback dispute claims.
8. File insurance claims if the amount on lost or stolen card is greater than $500.
9. Wire processing.
10. Balances the daily credit card reports.
11. RDC review.
12. Maintains ATM Fleet.
13. Return Check cash letter.
14. Must demonstrate commitment, dependability and respect for other employees
with regular attendance, punctuality and adherence to agreed-upon schedule of
availability.
15. Share draft processing and balancing.
16. ACH processing.
17. Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY
Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the
nature of the position.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED required.
Competencies (as demonstrated through experience, training, and/or testing):
- Knowledge of credit union policy and procedures.
- Demonstrated knowledge of mathematical concepts including computation rates,
ratios, percentages, averages and reconciliation.
- Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatical, or
schedule form.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to use personal computers and office productivity software.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
- Ability to be an effective team member and handle projects responsibly.
- Planning, organizing, and project coordination skills.
- A cooperative, positive attitude in relations with members and other employees.
- Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with emotional or
confrontational circumstances.
- Courteous telephone manner.
- Aptitude for figures and detail work.
WORKING CONDITIONS (Physical/Mental Demands)
