Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and become a vital part of transforming lives through behavioral therapy! In this rewarding role, you will work directly with students with developmental disabilities, You will be part of the LINKS program in our middle/high school which serves students with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Duties
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to promote skill development and reduce challenging behaviors
- Collect accurate data on student behaviors and progress to inform ongoing treatment adjustments
- Assist students with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, toileting, and other self-care routines
- Support clients during teaching sessions, utilizing evidence-based strategies rooted in applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Knowledge of behavioral health concepts, behavior management techniques, and special education practices is advantageous
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while demonstrating patience and empathy in all interactions
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
