Compensation will be dependent on a candidates experience and credentials. 

 
Certerra is a consulting firm with over 65 years of quality service that offers professional services in the southwestern United States in the fields of geotechnical engineering, environmental engineering, construction materials engineering and testing, nondestructive testing, and welding inspection. We have a full-time opportunity for an experienced Receptionist in our Rancho Cucamonga, CA office.

Job Summary:  

The Receptionist cheerfully greets and guides callers, visitors, clients and vendors, quickly assessing which department will be best able to assist them, and works with other employees on special projects as needed, supporting daily operations. 

Duties:

• Answers phones
• Greets and assists visitors
• Keeps reception area and conference room tidy
• Prepares conference room for upcoming meetings
• Reports inventory of janitorial and break room supplies to Office Manager for timely ordering 
• Sorts, files, and scans documents
• Tidies Break Room twice daily and ensures supplies are stocked, wipes down refrigerator shelves once weekly
• Prepares FedEx shipments
• Delivers mail to the Post Office and FedEx packages to the FedEx store
• Assists with other duties as needed. 

Education/Qualifications:

• High School Graduate with excellent Verbal and Written communication skills to interact clearly with customers, vendors, and staff 
• Organizational skills to keep accurate records and find information quickly 
• Time Management skills to prioritize and complete tasks throughout the day 
• Interpersonal skills such as patience and attentiveness to respond appropriately and make visitors feel welcome 
• Proficiency with copiers, printers, digital calendars, Word, and Excel 

Certifications/Licenses: 

• Valid Driver’s License

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stoop, kneel and to routinely lift and carry 30 pounds
• Clean driving record and capable of being insured for driving company vehicles
