We are currently seeking a Medical Imaging Assistant to join our team. Position Overview:
We are seeking a Medical Imaging Assistant to join our growing Mammography team. Unlike typical travel roles, this position offers a unique opportunity to work on a state-of-the-art mobile scanner while serving local and diverse communities. This role provides flexibility of different environments while being a part of a stable and employee-centric organization. Youll have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with various healthcare facilities and become a key member of our Shared Medical Services ONETEAM.
Anticipated Schedule:
- Scanner route runs Monday-Friday shift varies
- Occasional overnights
- Weekly guarantee of hours
Responsibilities:
- You will assist in the patient-care capacity by escorting patients from the medical facility to the mobile unit, while ensuring excellent patient care, comfort, safety, and confidentiality (we will train you!)
- Safely relocate the equivalent to 26 straight truck to medical facilities along a dedicated route in accordance with DOT rules and regulations
- At each location, you will conduct set-up and tear down of the trailer
- Some administrative tasks required, including time/activity reports, billing, drivers logs, and any applicable maintenance, mileage, or inspection forms
Qualifications:
- High school Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to drive or experience driving equivalent to 26 straight truck. SMS is willing to train
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Must possess valid Drivers License. CDL NOT REQUIRED
- Must have acceptable driving record
- Successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check, urine drug screen and DOT physical
