What are the responsibilities and job description for the Imaging Technologist Aide - Per Diem (As Needed) position at Shared Imaging?

Shared Imaging is currently looking to hire a Per Diem (as needed) Imaging Technologist Aide for coverage at our Dublin, GA site.
Work Schedule:
- Site: Dublin VA Medical Center / Carl Vinson VA Medical Center (1862 Veterans Boulevard, Dublin, GA 31021)
- Per Diem, as needed basis for PTO, backlog coverage
- Monday through Friday, limited Saturday's
- 8am to 5pm shift when covering
The ideal candidate must possess:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CPR/BLS Certification (via American Heart Association) required
- Certified Medical Assistant preferred
- Medical terminology, anatomy and physiology understanding preferred
- Patient care experience strongly preferred
- Self-starter with the ability to multi-task
- Hard working, detail-oriented, and committed to outstanding patient care
- Team player with a positive attitude
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Greeting and directing patients
- Confirming and registering patients
- Verifying all necessary information is available for the test
- Ability to walk to and from hospital and trailer as needed
- Assist patients in and out of the trailer
- Ability to push wheelchairs, gurneys and stretchers
- Assist technologist with positioning patient and assisting them on and off the scanning table
- Assist in setting up MRI scanning areas
- Stocking and maintaining patient dressing rooms, scan areas and control areas
- Ordering supplies
- Other responsibilities as directed

Salary : $18 - $20
