Campaign : International Rescue Committee (IRC)

The International Rescue Committee is a global humanitarian organization, founded in 1933 at the call of Albert Einstein, that responds to the world’s worst crises to help people whose lives and livelihoods have been shattered by conflict, disaster, and displacement. Standing at the forefront of humanitarian response, the IRC works to ensure that people not only survive but recover and regain control of their futures, holding governments and global systems accountable to those most affected by crisis.

This position is a Door/Street Hybrid fundraising/canvassing position where you can expect to stand/walk for 6 hours outside in all weather conditions, and you are required to obtain 9 donors per week.

We work Tuesday- Saturday 10:30-7pm.

Team Lead $25/hr bonuses

Advanced Team Lead earn $27/hr bonuses

Responsibilities

• Engage confidently with members of the public in various community settings to communicate the mission and goals of our organization
• Build meaningful relationships with potential donors, explaining how their support can create lasting impact
• Promote awareness of our causes through compelling storytelling and active listening
• Collect donations 9* per week*
• Helping support fellow team members hit quota, run lead at sites
• Collaborate with team members to develop strategic plans for outreach campaigns and maximize fundraising efforts

Requirements

• 1 year in FTF QUOTA based fundraising
• ability to hold 9 donors a week
• Excellent communication skills, Strong Emotional Intelligence, with a positive attitude
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environments
• Demonstrated relationship management skills and a passion for social causes
• Prior experience in door face to face fundraising preferred but not required.
• must be over 21
