Campaign : Greenpeace is a global network of independent campaigning organizations, started in 1971, that use peaceful protest and creative confrontation to expose global environmental problems and promote solutions that are essential to a green, just, and joyful future. Greenpeace is at the forefront of environmental activism, driving bold campaigns to protect our oceans, forests, and climate while holding corporations and governments accountable.
This position is a door fundraising/canvassing position where you can expect to stand/walk for 6 hours outside in all weather conditions, and you are required to obtain 8 donors per week. We work Monday-Friday 11:00am - 7:30pm.

Responsibilities
- Engage confidently with members of the public in various community settings to communicate the mission and goals of our organization
- Build meaningful relationships with potential donors, explaining how their support can create lasting impact
- Promote awareness of our causes through compelling storytelling and active listening
- Collect donations and manage contributions accurately using CRM
- Maintain excellent customer service by addressing questions, providing information, and fostering positive interactions
- Collaborate with team members to develop strategic plans for outreach campaigns and maximize fundraising efforts
Requirements
- Must be 21
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect quickly and authentically with diverse audiences
- Experience or interest in fundraising, marketing, service industry or public relations is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, Strong Emotional Intelligence, with a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Demonstrated relationship management skills and a passion for social causes
- Prior experience in door face to face fundraising preferred but not required.
