- Nonprofit Management: focus on the organization's day-to-day operations and funding.
- Strategic planning: Developing plans for fundraising, donor recognition, events, and other initiatives
- Budgeting: Create budgeting plans for projects or departments. Overseeing the annual planning and budgeting process
- Operations: Preparing reports and presentations. Managing programs, financial management, and conservation grants
- Communications: Engaging with donors, the public, and the media
- Relationship building: Maintaining strong relationships with external partners, board, and staff
- Ability to balance projects involving high-level strategic thinking and detailed analysis.
- Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively and collegially with faculty and staff.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work with individuals representing diverse backgrounds and perspectives.

Minimum Education and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- A minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in organizational consultation, organizational development, or organizational leadership, preferably within a higher education or other public sector setting.
