We are currently seeking a Shipping Clerk to join our team. This position is located at Share Corporation, 7821 N. Faulkner Rd. Milwaukee, WI 53224.
This position is responsible for preparing finished products and other outgoing materials for shipment. This individual will load and unload shipments from trucks and transport materials between adjacent buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Using a forklift to load and unload trucks
- Preparing materials for shipment such as labeling, palletizing, and shrink wrapping
- Completion of shipping- related paperwork
- Visually inspecting incoming materials for damage or missing product
- Other shipping-related tasks as assigned
- Other production-related tasks as assigned
- Housekeeping tasks as assigned
Qualifications & Skills:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Ability to accurately complete paperwork/documentation
- Ability to use a calculator to do basic calculations and arithmetic using different units of measurement
- Able to use hand tools and closure equipment (utility knife, wrenches, clamps, etc.)
- Ability to interact professionally with third parties such as customers and truck drivers
- Basic computer proficiency
- Attention to detail with respect to correct labeling and paperwork
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (e.g., Tyvek suit, chemical-resistant gloves, protective footwear, eye and face protection)
