Job description
As a Behavior Technician at Shape to Success, you'll have the rewarding opportunity to provide top quality clinic-based, in-home, and/or community-based 1:1 ABA services to children and young adults diagnosed with Autism and developmental disabilities. You'll work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), ensuring you have the guidance and support needed to succeed.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the client to implement skill acquisition programs and behavior reduction programs
- Communicate and collaborate with supervising BCBA
- Demonstrate the use of positive reinforcement while working with clients.
- Utilize behavioral health software to collect data on programs and target behaviors.
- Write comprehensive clinical session notes.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace.
- Attend required paid trainings and professional development workshops.
Qualifications:
- Must be available for a minimum of two hours during our afternoon block between the hours of 2:30 and 6:30
- Have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (in Education, Psychology or related field preferred) or high diploma with completion of RBT certification.
- Have previous experience working with children (preferred).
- Be able to play and engage with children.
- Completion of required paid trainings including Crisis training.
- Completion of company offered Registered Behavior Technician Coursework and certification.
- Strong written and spoken interpersonal and communication skills.
- Receptive to feedback and willingness to learn about Applied Behavior Analysis.

Pay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour
