What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse for Adult Day Program Full Time preferred position at Shanti Gardens Adult Day Care?
Shanti Gardens Adult Day Care in Lower Bucks County is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN), licensed in PA, to work part time, 30 to 35 hours per week. This position requires experience working with individuals with disabilities, knowledge of Plans of Care, is well-organized and has strong interpersonal skills.
Hours available: Full time preferred 8am to 2pm, Monday through Friday and every other Saturdays, 8AM to 12:30PM
A minimum of ONE year experience working with the frail/elderly individuals is REQUIRED for this position.
Qualifications:
1) One year Experience working with aging adults or adults with dementia
2) Experience with developing, reviewing care plans and writing quality notes.
3) Must be flexible, reliable, and punctual.
4) Experience working with MS Word & Excel is required.
5) Ability to perform below tasks: (A) Review of the client’s health status, including dietary needs. (B) Review of medication procedures, if necessary. (C) Review of policies and procedures for personal care. (D) Training and education of staff persons regarding the needs of clients in centers, including infection control. (E) Respond to emergencies. (F) Oversee personal care and dietary needs.
