Shannopin Country Club is a vibrant, family-oriented golf & country club located in the rolling hills of Ben Avon Heights, about 10 minutes north of Downtown Pittsburgh.
Job Description:
Shannopin is looking for a creative, experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will learn how to maintain and operate each station in a medium volume kitchen and gain experience with a wide variety of menu items using techniques from many different cuisines. We have AM and PM shifts available.
Job Requirements:
- Solid culinary experience and skills
- Experience in the Food and Beverage industry
- Hard-working, team-oriented attitude
- Reliable transportation for each shift
Line Cook Responsibilities:
- Assisting with stocking and setting up stations in a scratch kitchen environment
- Preparing high quality food, cleaning and cutting ingredients, cooking main dishes, preparing desserts, appetizers, and snacks
- Contributing to menu development by building new recipes or adjusting existing ones to ensure the best product
- Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and in a timely manor
- Maintaining a safe environment through responsible kitchen operation, food safety, and hygiene
