What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warranty Administrator position at Shannon Wenkel?
We are looking for a Warranty Manager/Administrator for the Service Department of our fast paced trucking company. We have a fleet of over 650 pieces of Transportation and Mining Equipment. With a very competitive industry, we strive to maintain a modern and reliable fleet. Operating late model equipment allows us to perform our own warranty repair in house and manage those that are done at dealerships as well.
Responsibilities
- Manage large amounts of potential warranty repairs
- Identify and assess repairs that can be covered under warranty
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with dealerships and vendors through open and interactive communication
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Meet personal/dealership quotas
- Handle many types of warranty processes and procedures
- Keep records of many different items within our repair facilities needs
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
Skills
- Data entry and record keeping
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- High school degree
