Minimum 2 years of previous optician / optical experience is required.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting patients in selecting frames and lenses that fit their visual needs, lifestyle, and budget
- Educating patients on lens options, coatings, specialty products, and vision benefits
- Measuring and fitting eyewear for proper comfort and vision
- Adjusting, repairing, and troubleshooting eyeglasses
- Ordering, dispensing, and verifying eyewear
- Verifying vision insurance benefits and explaining coverage to patients
- Processing optical orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintaining an organized, attractive optical gallery
- Providing outstanding customer service before, during, and after the sale
- Assisting with patient flow throughout the day
- Cross-training in other areas of the office as needed

Qualifications
Required:
- 2 years of optician / optical experience
- ABO certification (preferred but not required)
- Experience with frame styling, lens recommendations, and eyewear dispensing
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a team
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
