What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse position at Shannon Private Home Care?
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team! You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned patients.
- Monitoring, supervising, and providing the care of those members whose health status and situation involve complex observation
- Initial evaluation visit, including development of the written care plan
- Re-evaluation of member’s nursing needs
- Initiation of the plan of treatment
- Initiation of appropriate preventative and rehabilitative nursing procedures
- Preparation of clinical and progress notes
- Coordination of services
- Informing the care physician, care coordinator team, and other personnel involved of changes in the member’s condition and needs
- Member and family teaching
- Supervising and teaching other nursing personnel
- Reviewing and revising the member care plan at least every 62 days and communicating revisions to appropriate staff
