Job Summary
Performs duties of obtaining authorization and referrals. Work involves doing peer to peer for physicians, completing nursing authorizations, and assists patients with questionings concerning insurance payment/adjustments. May train others. Performs related work as assigned.

Qualifications
Education

Required

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

Experience:
Preferred

One year of clerical or medical office experience

Certification/Licensure:
Required

Certified Medical Assistant

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Must obtain within ninety (90) days of start date
