Data Entry Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Clerk to accurately input and manage information in our databases and systems. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and able to handle repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy. This role is essential for maintaining clean, up-to-date, and well-organized data to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter, update, and verify data in databases, spreadsheets, or digital systems
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of information entered
• Identify and correct errors in data before entry
• Review data for completeness and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain digital and/or paper filing systems
• Retrieve and prepare data for reports or analysis as needed
• Handle confidential information with discretion
• Meet daily and weekly data entry goals and deadlines
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure data accuracy and consistency
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience in a data entry or administrative role
• Fast and accurate typing skills (recommended: 40 WPM)
• Excellent attention to detail
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Google Workspace, or database software
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
