Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of water treatment plant construction projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, architects, regulatory agencies, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
- Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Oversee procurement activities, including obtaining bids, negotiating contracts, and selecting vendors and subcontractors.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess work quality, safety practices, and adherence to project specifications.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and budgetary performance.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, providing leadership, mentorship, and support to project team members.
- Continuously evaluate project performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices to enhance project delivery.
- BA in Construction Management or BS in Mechanical Engineering preferred
- 5-7 years of past experience as a Project Manager for commercial construction projects
- Technical knowledge of water treatment processes
- Leadership skills, positive attitude and ability to motivate others
- Proficiency in project management software (i.e. Procore, BlueBeam, Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, Microsoft Office)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
