Job Overview:
As a Brand Ambassador, you will be the face of the company, educating consumers and dispensary staff about our products and brand, increasing brand awareness, and driving sales. This role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive in social environments and have a deep passion for cannabis.
The Brand Ambassador is responsible for visiting the dispensaries in their territory weekly to engage with dispensary agents and be a reliable resource for information about our products, as well as our brand. The Brand Ambassador will work closely with Sales Representatives while initiating, organizing, and staffing events, such as pop-ups, to assist dispensary partners with selling our products. The Brand Ambassador will develop plans that support lines of service, brand objectives, and increased brand awareness in the New York market. The Brand Ambassador is also responsible for ensuring that marketing and merchandising collateral is delivered and installed successfully so that our products are displayed effectively to promote brand awareness.
Responsibilities:
· Schedule and represent the company at staff pop-ups at dispensary locations to meet patients, solicit product feedback, collect e-mail addresses for our distribution list, distribute product information, and gifts-with-purchase.
- Attend industry events and trade shows to promote the products and brand.
- Educate retail customers and dispensary staff on our products, brand values, and industry trends.
- Drive product awareness and encourage sales through engaging interactions.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with dispensary partners and retail teams.
- Collect customer feedback and provide reports on events and market trends.
- Ensure all activities comply with New York State cannabis regulations.
- Understanding a dispensary’s inventory position and suggesting/organizing pop-ups designed to increase the sell-through of specific products or product lines
- Deliver SWAG to dispensary staff, as needed.
- Deliver and install marketing materials and refresh existing materials (brochures, stickers, etc.) as needed.
- Monitor and correct, as needed, the use of digital marketing materials and print collateral in-store.
- Assist dispensary partner with merchandising display packaging, printed educational materials, and uploading digital marketing assets to dispensary’s displays and online menu, upon request.
- Solicit dispensary agents for product feedback
- Identify opportunities to offer budtender training or samples to improve staff’s product knowledge
- Observe and communicate new products and market information to our Sales Representatives.
- Observe and communicate marketing initiatives by competitor brands.
- Represent Boutiq at cannabis industry events and activations
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years old and legally authorized to work in New York.
- Passion for the cannabis industry with knowledge of products, strains, and consumption methods.
- Outgoing, personable, and confident in engaging with customers.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Prior experience in sales, brand representation, or event marketing is a plus.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to different dispensary locations.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
