- Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
- Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Maintains standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.
- Observes all house and safety rules, departmental procedures, and security procedures.
- Assist with inventories as scheduled.
- Follow maintenance program and cleaning schedule.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent vocation training
- Previous guest relations and/or training.
- Any trade license/certificate from the state of hotel’s operation.
- Minimum two years’ experience as a landscaper.
- Working knowledge regarding: landscaping supplies and equipment; health codes; architectural codes; structural codes; building code improvement; national/local fire codes; proper chemical handling and disposal; power and hand tools, etc. as it relates to the landscaping trade; local mechanical codes; OSHA codes and best practices.
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guest, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
- Ability to provide legible written communication. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to interpret manufacturer’s literature for installation, preparation, use and upkeep of various materials and products used throughout the property.
- Participates with Landscape Laborer in preparing and grading terrain, applying fertilizers, seeding and sodding lawns, and transplanting shrubs and plants.
- Plans lawns, and plants and cultivates them.
- Plants new and repairs established lawns, using seed mixtures and fertilizers recommended for particular soil type and lawn location.
- Locates and plants shrubs, trees, and flowers selected by property owner or those recommended for particular landscape effect.
- Be available for snow removal outside of normal working hours.
- Mows and trims lawns. Trims shrubs and cultivates gardens. Cleans grounds.
