Shanél Valley Academy (SVA) is a small, rural public charter school serving TK–6th grade students in Hopland, California. Job Summary
Job Summary
Teacher: Grades TK-6 Credentialed teachers are responsible for implementing the educational programs for all students while personalizing instruction to meet the needs of each individual student, and creating challenging activities consistent with the subject matter under study. Teachers will assess students throughout the year and varying the modes of instruction to the learning style of each student. Teachers will also be responsible for collaborating with other staff members, both within and outside their discipline/department. Experiential learning, project-based learning, blended learning, and learning portfolios are integral to SVA’s mission and vision to engage students in hands-on, minds-on learning.
Requirements / Qualifications
All SVA teachers (TK-6) will hold a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, permit, or other document required for the teacher’s certificated assignment (including CLAD and BCLAD if necessary).
