Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Box Truck Driver to handle our local deliveries in the Pittsburgh area. NO CDL REQUIRED
Responsibilities
- Safely operate box truck and cargo van
- Make pickups and deliveries as needed
- Use GPS navigation systems to plan optimal routes and ensure timely delivery
- Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving with box trucks.
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation tools for route planning and real-time adjustments.
- Ability to load & unload freight safely using manual handling techniques; experience with logistics cargo handling is a plus.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
- Ability to adhere strictly to safety guidelines during truck loading/unloading processes and while transporting freight over long distances.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members, dispatchers, and customers effectively.
