Shamrock Trading Corporation and Ryan Transportation are looking for an Implementation Analyst. The primary objective of this role is to participate in all aspects of business system solution implementations for our Transportation Management System (TMS) clients. This includes but is not limited to process design, system set-up and configuration, user training, testing, go-live support, and continuous improvement. This role will report to the Ryan Transportation Management Support Team and will be expected to work in collaboration with the Shamrock IT team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Aid sales and customer-facing staff through training, joint sales calls/visits to key accounts
- Lead new client onboarding analysis and verification, ensuring that base functionality and integration requirements are captured.
- Configure, implement, and validate TMS functional requirements
- Establish and support integration platforms between RTS and Clients
- Implement appropriate mitigation strategies that may involve compromises with respect to scope and schedule
- Lead client and vendor trainings on TMS software to ensure a smooth transition
- Document and establish Standard Operation Procedures
- Diagnose and troubleshoot application issues to determine root cause of problems or malfunctions.
- Create workaround procedures when standard procedures have failed and ensures issues are resolved in a timely fashion
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good time management skills
- Logistics, IT, or Engineering experience is a plus
- Mercury Gate experience preferred, but not required
- Project Management experience preferred
- Well organized, analytical, innovative, and strong problem-solving skills
- Willingness to engage with customers and perform research into their needs
- Well versed in IT technologies and best practices
- Ability to lead and work with teams, be part of a team, and understand team dynamics
- Ability to maintain a high level of detail, often under tight deadlines and competing priorities
