Starting compensation (DOE): $23-$26 per hour

This position is responsible for cutting, trimming, boning, tying, and grinding meats to portion and prepare meat in cooking form.
Essential Duties:
- Cutting and trimming boneless, bone in and cutting machine at 85% goal to time and yield product to reduce to cooking cuts such as roasts, steaks, chops, stew cubes, and grinding meat
- Use of band saw, marelec portioning machine, industrial meat slicer and dicer and ross intervention spray cabinet
- Cutting and weighing steaks and chops for individual servings
- Shaping and tying roasts
- Recording quantity of meat received and issued to cutters
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Performing other duties as assigned to meet business needs
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-three years related experience and/or training
- Must have the ability of using cutting utensils and running an electric pallet jack or forklift.
- Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which are subject to evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical Demands:
- Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds
- Frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
- Occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
