Human Resources Manager

The Human Resources Manager serves as the primary Human Resources partner for Shamrock Foods Company's distribution operations, supporting a dynamic and complex warehouse environment. This role works closely with operational leaders to address employee relations, workforce planning, talent development, and organizational effectiveness while ensuring people strategies support operational goals and business performance. Acting as a trusted advisor, the Human Resources Manager leads through influence, coaches leaders through workforce challenges, and helps create an engaged, productive, and compliant workplace culture.

Essential Duties:

• Serve as the primary Human Resources partner for distribution operations, providing guidance and support to leaders on employee relations, talent management, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.
• Build strong relationships with operational leaders and influence business decisions through sound judgment, HR expertise, and business acumen.
• Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, including investigations, performance management, corrective action, attendance concerns, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
• Coach leaders at all levels on employee matters and people leadership practices while promoting consistency, accountability, and compliance.
• Identify workforce trends, risks, and opportunities and recommend practical solutions that support business objectives and associate engagement.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and operational leaders to support workforce planning efforts, staffing strategies, hiring initiatives, and onboarding programs that meet current and future business needs.
• Facilitate and support group interview events, onboarding activities, and new associate integration to drive a positive candidate and associate experience.
• Collaborate with Human Resources Centers of Excellence, including Talent Acquisition, Safety, Benefits, Compensation, and Legal, to implement programs, initiatives, and organizational priorities.
• Support talent development, succession planning, and associate engagement initiatives that strengthen organizational capability and retention.
• Analyze workforce metrics and trends to identify opportunities and provide recommendations to leaders.
• Assist with the implementation and communication of Human Resources programs, policies, and processes.
• Champion Shamrock's culture and values while fostering an inclusive, respectful, and high-performing work environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Support organizational changes and business initiatives through effective planning, communication, and execution.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably supporting distribution, warehouse, manufacturing, or other operational environments.
• Strong employee relations experience, including investigations, performance management, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
• Proven ability to build trusted partnerships with leaders and influence decision-making through sound judgment and Human Resources expertise.
• Experience supporting workforce planning, talent development, organizational effectiveness, and change management initiatives.
• In-depth knowledge of Human Resources best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional partners, including Talent Acquisition, Safety, Benefits, Compensation, and Legal.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
