Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Field Service Technician to join our Shamrock team. In this role, you will provide equipment installation, repair, preventive maintenance, and removal services at customer locations.

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working independently, building customer relationships, and delivering excellent service. As a Refrigeration Technician, you will provide reactive, installation, preventative maintenance, and removal services on customer-owned beverage equipment. You will also build strong relationships with our customers and maintain the highest standards of service and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose beverage equipment problems during reactive service calls
• Complete repairs according to work orders and contractual deadlines
• Install and remove beverage equipment at customer locations
• You will be responsible for following EPA guidelines for storage of refrigerant supplies and EPA guidelines for charging/evacuation of refrigeration system.
• Complete equipment projects and preventive maintenance services
• Inspect equipment and identify additional service or replacement needs
• Make equipment recommendations to customers when appropriate
• Communicate customer needs and sales opportunities to the Sales Department
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Build strong working relationships with customers
• Represent Shamrock professionally at customer locations
• Follow company safety procedures and service standards

Required Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver’s license
• HVAC certification/EPA 608 certification required
• Ability to work independently while traveling between customer locations
• Strong communication and customer-service skills

Skills & Competencies

• Ability to use basic hand tools
• Familiarity with power tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and twist throughout the workday
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds

Work Schedule

• Mon-Fri and Weekends, based on business needs
• Overtime available
• Participate in on-call rotation (every 4 weeks once fully trained).

Compensation & Benefits (FULL TIME)

• Salary Range: $30-35.00 (Starting pay will be based on experience, skills, and qualifications.)
