- Job Title: Security Guard
- Location: Hilton
- Schedule: Full-Time, Part-Time (must include weekends and holidays)
- Variable schedule, Overnight Shift (based on volume)
- Work Environment: Oceanfront hotel right on the boardwalk

What Youβll Do:
- Security Patrols:
- Conduct regular patrols of the hotel premises, including guest floors, lobby areas, parking lots, and other designated areas.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and security systems to detect and deter suspicious activities or unauthorized access.
- Remain vigilant and alert to potential security threats or safety hazards.
- Access Control:
- Control access to the hotel by monitoring entrances, exits, and access points.
- Verify the identity of individuals entering the premises and ensure that only authorized personnel and guests are granted entry.
- Enforce hotel policies regarding visitor registration, guest check-in, and key card access.
- Guest and Employee Assistance:
- Provide assistance and support to guests and employees in need, including escorting guests to their rooms or vehicles, providing directions, and responding to inquiries.
- Assist with guest room lockouts, lost items, or medical emergencies as needed.
- Serve as a point of contact for guests and employees to report security concerns or incidents.
- Incident Response:
- Respond promptly to security incidents, disturbances, or emergencies such as fights, medical emergencies, or fire alarms.
- Assess the situation, take appropriate action to de-escalate conflicts or hazards, and alert emergency responders or law enforcement if necessary.
- Document security incidents, observations, and actions taken in detailed incident reports.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential security risks or vulnerabilities within the hotel premises and report them to management.
- Implement security measures and protocols to mitigate risks and enhance safety.
- Conduct security assessments and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and security standards.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with hotel staff, management, and external partners such as law enforcement agencies or emergency services to address security concerns and coordinate response efforts.
- Communicate effectively with guests, employees, and other stakeholders to provide information, instructions, and assistance as needed.

Qualifications
- Previous experience with hotels and food & beverage establishments.
- Strong teamwork, observation skills and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle high-stress situations
- Must be dependable, professional, and have a high level of integrity
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
