What You’ll Do
- Coordinate and prioritize outgoing food orders to ensure timely service
- Verify food accuracy, modifiers, temperature, portioning, and presentation
- Serve as the primary communication bridge between kitchen staff and servers
- Monitor ticket times and proactively address delays or issues
- Ensure special requests and dietary modifications are executed correctly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient expeditor/pass area
- Support food runners and assist with takeout or packaged orders as needed
- Communicate clearly with front-of-house staff to support table pacing and guest experience
- Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service
- Respond promptly to guest needs and questions related to food service
- Handle guest concerns calmly and courteously in collaboration with leadership
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
- Prevent cross-contamination and handle food safely
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas
