The Hilton Richmond Hotel & Spa/Short Pump is currently accepting resumes and applications for the position of part-time Barista.
The Hilton Short Pump is a full service, flagship hotel owned and operated by Shamin Hotels, central Virginia's largest hotel management company. We have tripled in size to 78 hotels over the past ten years, under the Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, InterContinental and Choice flags.
The PT Barista position will be scheduled for variable shifts in the mornings and afternoons and weekend shifts. Working additional shifts in other Food & Beverage outlets is also possible. The ideal candidate should enjoy interacting with our guests and team members, display a friendly and positive attitude and enjoy providing excellent hospitality!
Job duties include:
- Provide great customer service
- Receive and take guests' orders and process them in the POS system
- Consistently prepare and serve beverages and food items to meet brand standards
- Assist with set up, clean up, side work and stocking
- Work collaboratively with Front Desk and Food & Beverage associates to ensure guest satisfaction and proper accounting
- Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and co-workers
- Set up and open the Cafe in the mornings or close in the afternoons.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Passion for hospitality and providing excellent guest service
- Ability to work under pressure and solve problems as they arise
- Knowledge and enthusiasm about coffee and tea and the preparation of them
- Ability to communicate fluently with guests and other associates in English
