• Job Title: Food Runner
• Location: 3001 Atlantic Ave, Virginia Beach, VA 23451
• Schedule: Variable or Part-Time (must include weekends and holidays)
• Work Environment: Oceanfront hotel right on the boardwalk

📝 Summary:
The Food Runner plays a key role in supporting the service team by ensuring timely, accurate, and professional delivery of food to guests. This position requires attention to detail, speed, and teamwork to ensure that each dish is presented at the highest standard.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver food orders promptly from the kitchen to guests in the dining room.
• Ensure dishes are presented according to restaurant standards before serving.
• Assist servers in maintaining table service, including pre-bussing and resetting tables.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and service teams to ensure seamless service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and work areas.
• Provide courteous and professional assistance to guests as needed.
• Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.

Preferred:

• Previous experience as a busser or food runner in a high-volume restaurant

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
