Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine the type and amount of insulation needed.
- Select insulation materials according to the application and the desired performance.
- Measure and cut insulation materials to fit around pipes, ducts, walls, and other structures.
- Install insulation materials by stapling, gluing, wiring, or nailing them to surfaces.
- Seal and finish insulation work to prevent air leaks and moisture accumulation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and use protective gear as required.
- Clean up work area and dispose of waste materials properly.
- Communicate with supervisors and other tradespeople to coordinate work and resolve issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in insulation installation or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of insulation materials and their properties.
- Ability to operate insulation-cutting tools, power tools, and hand tools.
- Understanding of safety regulations and ability to follow safety procedures.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required.
