Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cleaner to join our team and help maintain a pristine, welcoming environment. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks across residential, commercial, or hospitality settings. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of surfaces, floors, carpets, and furniture using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to meet health and safety standards
- Handle laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms
- Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas by dusting, disinfecting, and sanitizing surfaces
- Operate janitorial equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners, and mops efficiently and safely
- Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of cleaning supplies or furniture with proper technique
- Communicate effectively with clients or team members to ensure cleaning expectations are met or exceeded
Qualifications
- Proven experience in custodial work, residential housekeeping, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, outdoor work experience is advantageous
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, sanitation products, and cleaning equipment operation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with efficiency
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and complete assignments promptly
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients or team members
- Basic understanding of janitorial procedures including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitation standards
