Assistant Executive Director – Senior Living Facility

We’re seeking an experienced Assistant Executive Director to partner with our Executive Director and the Shalom Parkside team in overseeing daily operations and supporting the strategic growth of our senior living community. This leadership role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated team, foster a positive and engaging environment for residents and staff, and ensure the highest standards of care and service excellence.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Executive Director to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve operational goals and objectives
Provide guidance and oversight to departmental directors and staff to ensure seamless delivery of services
Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as necessary
Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and staff to promote a culture of care and compassion
Develop and manage budgets, reports, and other administrative tasks as assigned
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Represent the organization at community events and meetings as needed
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in senior living or related field
Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with seniors and their families
