Current Colorado Certified Nurse Aide (C.N.A.) certificate

- DAY SHIFT: 6:30 am - 2:45 pm
- EVENING SHIFT: 2:30 pm - 10:45 pm
- NIGHT SHIFT: 10:30 pm - 6:45 am
Summary
Cares for patients in nursing home under direction of nursing and medical staff, by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Follows all nursing home policies and procedures governing the care of the resident
- Answers call lights, safety alarms or paging system to determine patients’ needs
- Bathes, dresses, and undresses patients
- Serves and collects food trays and feeds patients requiring assistance
- Transports patients or assists patients to walk
- Assists patients during examinations and treatments, and remains with patients to perform such duties as holding instruments and adjusting lights
- Turns and repositions bedfast patients, alone or with assistance, to prevent pressure ulcers
- Changes bed linens, empties trash cans, runs errands, directs visitors, and answers telephone
- Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed
- All Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) must be accurately documented using either computerized means (or manual as necessary)
- Other duties may be assigned

Salary : $21 - $29
