What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool teacher position at Shaloh House?
Shaloh House Jewish Day School is seeking a hands-on, motivated, and nurturing Toddler/Preschool Teacher who loves working with young children to join our early childhood team.
Our school serves children from age 2 through elementary school in a warm, supportive, and values-centered Jewish environment. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, caring, and passionate about early childhood education, with a strong commitment to fostering social, emotional, and developmental growth in young learners.
Qualifications:
Valid EEC license is ideal but the candidate can obtain it later
Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
Experience working with toddlers or young children
Familiarity with Jewish traditions and values
Ability to speak Hebrew or Russian is a plus
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Warm, patient, and engaging teaching style
