About the Position
We are looking for a dependable and skilled Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience reading drawings and measurements, operating fabrication equipment, and producing high-quality parts and assemblies safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
· Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements.
· Cut, fit, weld, and assemble metal components.
· Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
· Measure and inspect finished work for accuracy and quality.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
· Follow all company safety procedures and production requirements.
· Work independently as well as part of a team.
Qualifications
• Previous fabrication or metalworking experience preferred.
• Ability to read basic blueprints and use measuring tools.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Ability to safely operate shop tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Physical requirements include standing for extended periods of time, stair and ladder climbing, routinely lifting up to 50 pounds, and heavy cleanup work of an industrial site.
Protective equipment (PPE) must be worn in the performance of some duties such as hard hats, safety glasses, air masks, ear protection, chemical suite, hot gloves, and high voltage protective equipment, etc.
