Shakti Investments Inc is looking for a skilled and dependable CDL Driver to join our FedEx Pickup & Delivery and Line Haul team in Newville, PA. Responsibilities:
- Operate commercial vehicles for FedEx pickup & delivery (P&D) and line haul routes during daytime hours
- Safely load, unload, and transport freight in accordance with DOT and FedEx network standards
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate driver logs (ELD)
- Deliver and pick up packages along assigned routes in a timely and professional manner
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and terminal staff regarding route updates or delays
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations
- Ensure cargo is properly secured and handled to prevent damage or loss
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL license required
- Clean driving record with a satisfactory MVR
- Minimum 1-2 years of commercial driving experience preferred
- Familiarity with ELD systems and DOT compliance regulations
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines
- Reliable, self-motivated, and professional with excellent safety awareness
