Shakespeare Engineering is a growing MEP design firm serving commercial construction projects across the country — from hotels and office building to fire stations and mixed-use developments. We're looking for a Mechanical & Plumbing Design Engineer with 2–5 years of experience to join our team.
This role goes beyond design work — you'll also play a key part in mentoring and developing our interns and newer engineers, helping shape how the next generation on our team learns the trade.

What You'll Do
- Lead mechanical system design and equipment selection for commercial buildings
- Design plumbing systems (domestic water, sanitary/vent, storm drainage)
- Produce construction documents in AutoCAD/Revit MEP
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other project stakeholders
- Mentor and review work from interns and newer team members
- Work directly with PMs on scope, schedule, and technical decisions
What You Bring
- 2–5 years of mechanical and/or plumbing design experience in commercial buildings
- Proficiency in Revit MEP
- Comfort mentoring and training
- Bluebeam experience a plus
- EIT or progress toward PE licensure a plus (not required)
